You build, operate, and design production-grade AI agents and tools using modern agentic frameworks in Python.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate agentic workflows in Python (3.11+) using LangGraph or LangChain.
• Implement tool and function calling flows with schema validation, memory management, and multi-step planning.
• Design and develop retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and hybrid search pipelines, including ingestion and embeddings.
• Deploy and manage AI agents on AWS EKS or ECS, integrating with services like S3, RDS, and OpenSearch Serverless.
• Implement observability practices using Datadog and OpenTelemetry, and ensure adherence to IAM policies and prompt-injection defenses.

Required Skills

• 4–6 years of experience in AI/ML or backend engineering, with at least 2 years building GenAI or Agentic AI solutions.
• Strong command of Python 3.11+ (including asyncio, typing, and pytest).
• Hands-on experience with LangGraph or LangChain for orchestration and reasoning.
• Proven experience designing RAG pipelines using vector stores (e.g., OpenSearch, pgvector).
• Proficiency with AWS components: EKS, S3, RDS, ElastiCache, SNS/SQS, API Gateway, and Secrets Manager.
• Experience in service instrumentation using Datadog and OpenTelemetry.
• Strong grounding in security, rate limiting, and resilient service design.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Semantic Kernel, Autogen, Crewai, or SQL Server.
