Agile Business Analyst

You will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver data-centric requirements within an Agile framework.

Responsibilities

• Profile source data, including spatial components, to identify conflicts and recommend resolutions for entity and semantic mismatches.
• Decompose high-level requirements into Epics, Features, and concise user stories mapped to data models and architectures.
• Manage the product backlog in coordination with the Product Owner, using progressive elaboration to refine themes and dependencies.
• Create process flows, context diagrams, and data flow diagrams to document current and future state processes.
• Execute Quality Analyst functions by defining test objectives, plans, and cases, and facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Develop conceptual prototypes and mock-ups to validate proposed solutions with vendors and stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience delivering business data analysis artifacts.
• 5+ years of experience specifically as an Agile Business Analyst.
• Deep understanding of Scrum methodology and backlog management.
• Expertise writing complex SQL queries for Sql Server and Oracle.
• Experience with Azure Databricks and ESRI ArcGIS.
• Proficiency with enterprise data management and reporting systems, including data lakes, warehouses, and data marts.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products, including Visio and Project Server.
• Proven ability to translate product strategy into technical dataset requirements and acceptance criteria.

Preferred Skills

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
• Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP).
