Description

 

Responsibilities

  • Coach Agile teams, Project Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and technology leaders on Agile and Lean Portfolio Management best practices.
  • Drive enterprise Agile transformation initiatives and support adoption of the organization's product operating model.
  • Manage portfolio planning activities including budgeting, forecasting, labor planning, capacity planning, and prioritization.
  • Facilitate PI Planning, portfolio planning sessions, retrospectives, and Agile workshops.
  • Partner with business and technology leadership to improve execution, delivery predictability, and organizational agility.
  • Challenge teams and leadership to ensure initiatives remain aligned with strategic business objectives.
  • Identify delivery risks, dependencies, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Mentor junior Agile Coaches, Project Managers, and Analysts.
  • Track Agile metrics, portfolio health, and delivery performance.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement across multiple initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in Agile Coaching, Agile Transformation, Portfolio Management, or Agile Program Delivery.
  • Experience managing enterprise portfolios, including budgeting, forecasting, labor planning, capacity planning, and financial planning.
  • Strong knowledge of SAFe and Lean Portfolio Management (LPM).
  • Experience coaching multiple Agile teams within a large enterprise environment.
  • Experience facilitating PI Planning and enterprise planning events.
  • Strong executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence leadership and drive organizational change without direct authority.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile portfolio management and delivery tools.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic planning with day-to-day execution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Insurance industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Release Train Engineer (RTE) experience is a significant plus.
  • SAFe, Lean Portfolio Management (LPM), SPC, or related Agile certifications preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Apptio, Targetprocess, Rally, Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile portfolio management tools.
