Agile Product Owner Advisor

You will lead product roadmapping, feature development, and backlog management within an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical roadmap and non-functional requirements, including page rendering times and service call response rates.
• Write high-quality Definition of Ready user stories in JIRA and maintain a groomed backlog aligned with stakeholder priorities.
• Collaborate with agile teams to build new capabilities and integrate architectural changes into user stories.
• Manage upstream dependencies and resolve conflicts across cross-functional teams including Compliance, IRM, and Infrastructure.
• Monitor product health and business outcomes while driving efforts to reduce technical debt.
• Enable test automation by defining clear acceptance criteria and facilitating the deployment of tooling such as Git and Jenkins.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner leading roadmaps and backlog management.
• 5+ years of technical experience as a systems analyst or developer focusing on COBOL mainframe systems, front-end applications, and APIs.
• 5+ years of Agile Project Management experience.
• Proficiency with JIRA for user story creation and backlog grooming.
• Hands-on experience with Git and Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of technical design, user experience, and the engineering lifecycle.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and process flows.
• Experience managing software products through the full development lifecycle.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
• Background in mainframe metrics and B2B software.
