Description

Lead Agile ceremonies and manage IT project lifecycles to drive team maturity and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope and timelines by coordinating sprints, conducting retrospectives, and leading daily stand-ups.
• Utilize Jira to refine sprint backlogs, manage workflows through storyboards, and ensure the quality of Epics and Stories.
• Partner with product owners to manage backlogs, address new requests, and resolve conflicts.
• Coach the organization in Agile frameworks and guide development teams toward higher levels of maturity.
• Collaborate with technical leaders to remove obstacles and facilitate communication between stakeholders and internal teams.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience managing Information Technology (IT) projects and programs.
• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master leading and coaching Agile teams.
• 3+ years of experience administering Jira and Confluence.
• Proven experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification.
• Strong ability to articulate technical ideas in simple language.
• Expertise in project management methodology, standards, and policies.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of Government Project Management experience.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS or Azure development/migration.
• Experience implementing Scrum and Kanban concepts in technical teams.
