Description

Architect and lead the migration of data analytics environments from Teradata to Snowflake, ensuring performance and reliability. You will own the end-to-end migration strategy, from on-prem ETL routines to cloud-native big data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the migration of data analytics environments from Teradata to Snowflake.
• Develop and deploy big data pipelines in cloud environments using Snowflake.
• Design and migrate existing on-prem ETL routines to cloud services.
• Optimize model codes for faster execution and implement data processing patterns.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to align technical delivery with business goals.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an Architect on analytics solutions.
• 2+ years of hands-on development experience with Snowflake.
• Expertise in Snowflake modeling, including roles, schemas, and databases.
• Proficiency in Data Warehousing and ETL design.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with DBT tools and integrating third-party ETL tools.
• Background in distributed computing and building applications for structured and unstructured data.
• Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake advanced concepts such as resource monitors and performance tuning.
• Experience working within an Agile delivery methodology.
• Client management skills.
