Description
You will design and implement end-to-end AI/ML architectures to solve complex utility challenges including energy forecasting, predictive maintenance, and grid optimization.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy Generative AI solutions for intelligent document processing, report generation, and scenario simulation.
- Design scalable AI/ML pipelines leveraging cloud-native platforms and open-source frameworks.
- Integrate AI models with existing utility systems such as SCADA, OMS, and DERMS.
- Establish AI governance frameworks to ensure explainability, bias mitigation, and compliance with NERC CIP and FERC regulations.
- Lead large-scale AI transformation programs and provide technical advisory services to CTO and CXO level stakeholders.
- Partner with business leaders to translate technical solutions into business value and support pre-sales activities including discovery workshops and proposal development.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in AI/ML architecture and technical leadership.
- Hands-on expertise with Tensorflow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
- Proven experience implementing Generative AI using OpenAI, Hugging Face, Anthropic, or cloud-native services.
- Proficiency with major platforms including Azure Machine Learning, AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, or Databricks ML.
- Deep understanding of utility-specific systems including SCADA, OMS, and DERMS.
- Experience with conversational AI tools such as Azure OpenAI Service, Google Vertex AI, or AWS Bedrock.
- Ability to manage large AI transformation programs and mentor cross-functional engineering teams.
