Description

Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks for cloud-native, API-driven, and microservices-based applications. Leverage AI tools to accelerate development and integrate automation directly into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or WebdriverIO.
• Implement in-sprint automation practices, collaborating with developers to automate test cases within the same sprint.
• Develop API automation for microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures including Kafka and SQS.
• Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, implementing quality gates and automated smoke/regression tests.
• Test end-to-end behavior of AWS components, ensuring all events, triggers, data flows, and integrations function correctly.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in automation engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (TypeScript preferred).
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, or Java.
• Experience leveraging AI-powered development tools and MCP-based integrations.
• Deep understanding of in-sprint automation and Agile delivery practices.
• Experience automating microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native architectures.
• CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience testing distributed systems, queues, events, and serverless functions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with test execution and reporting tools like Rally, HP ALM, JIRA, or IBM Rational.
