Description

You will build and maintain the backend infrastructure that powers AI-enhanced features, ensuring strict separation between application logic and model ownership.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement Python microservices and APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or Django with clean contracts, versioning, pagination, and rate limiting.
• Build REST and GraphQL endpoints and internal SDKs for prompt routing, retrieval, and redaction features.
• Set up asynchronous and event-driven processing pipelines using Kafka and Celery for high-throughput background jobs.
• Integrate services with enterprise AI platforms and LLM APIs, handling prompt orchestration, tool invocation, and response validation.
• Enforce runtime guardrails including input sanitization, PII redaction, toxicity filtering, and output signing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Python and microservices architecture.
• Strong proficiency with Django, Flask, or FastAPI frameworks.
• Experience building REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka for event-driven processing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices for service deployment.
• Understanding of LLM integration patterns and prompt engineering concepts.
• Experience with semantic retrieval or vector search platforms.
