Description

You will own the analysis of data assets and the development of deployable AI models for credit risk and fraud detection. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test AI models and algorithms using Vertex AI and BQML.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret large data assets to build predictive models and solution components.
• Collaborate with product managers to validate product needs and create business cases for AI solutions.
• Evaluate the feasibility, impact, and performance of AI projects and optimize models for accuracy.
• Provide technical guidance to junior analysts and communicate findings to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data analysis, machine learning, and AI development.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based AI platforms, specifically Vertex AI and BQML.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and analytics.
• Experience designing and developing predictive models in real-world applications.
• Ability to package, summarize, and visualize analytical findings for management.
• Bachelor's degree (2:1 or above) in a numerical subject such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics).
• Experience in the UK Credit Risk or financial services industry.
• Knowledge of neural networks, natural language processing, or big data architectures.
