AI Data Engineer

You will build and optimize the data foundations required for AI model training and inference.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data modelers to prepare and optimize datasets for AI training and inference workflows.
• Design and implement data pipelines that support feature engineering and model monitoring.
• Integrate AI-powered analytics and predictive models into Power BI and other business intelligence tools.
• Evaluate and implement AI services, including Azure Cognitive Services and OpenAI, to enhance data products.
• Develop and optimize EL processes using Azure Data Factory and DBT models.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Expertise in SQL and DAX.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including query tuning, clustering, and optimization.
• Proficiency in DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and testing.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for ingestion processes.
• Strong data modeling skills, including star schema, snowflake schema, normalization, and denormalization.
• Experience integrating AI/ML models into data pipelines and analytics platforms.
• Proven ability to create performant Power BI visualizations and maintain semantic models.
• Experience with Azure cloud services for data storage, integration, and processing.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Python or R for AI/ML tasks.
• Relevant certifications such as DP-203, SnowPro Core, or AI-102.
