Description

You will build and maintain data pipelines to ensure data is usable for future projects.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain simple data pipelines, including data transformation and entry.
• Support the design and implementation of basic data models.
• Perform intermediate-level data quality checks following established procedures.
• Investigate stakeholder queries and communicate findings or resolutions.
• Maintain documentation in the repository and follow security protocols to report vulnerabilities.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience as a data engineer or in a related role.
• Intermediate proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with scripting languages.
• Basic understanding of Google Cloud Platform and cloud computing concepts.
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines.
• Proficient usage of Git and contributing to team repositories.
• BS degree in a STEM major or equivalent discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, or Statistics.
• Cloud certification and knowledge of the financial services industry.
• Contributions to open-source AI projects or experience with data visualization tools.
