Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced AI Delivery Lead to manage enterprise-scale AI/ML and data analytics initiatives for a large public sector organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong project/program management expertise combined with hands-on experience leading AI transformation initiatives across cross-functional teams.

The candidate will be responsible for delivering complex technology programs using Agile and Waterfall methodologies while ensuring alignment with business objectives, governance standards, timelines, and budgets.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI/ML and data analytics projects
• Manage project plans, timelines, risks, budgets, and stakeholder communications
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, architecture, QA, operations, and business stakeholders
• Drive Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
• Manage AI/ML lifecycle activities including data pipelines, model deployment, monitoring, and optimization
• Oversee cloud-based AI initiatives using Azure or AWS platforms
• Review technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and API specifications
• Ensure compliance with enterprise governance, security, and data standards
• Utilize tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and Clarity PPM for project execution and reporting
• Present project updates and delivery status to leadership and executive stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of enterprise project/program management experience
• Experience managing projects with budgets exceeding $1M
• 2+ years managing AI/ML and data analytics projects
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, model lifecycle, and data pipelines
• 5+ years leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple concurrent projects
• Strong experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and MS Project
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Azure or AWS AI services
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance
• Experience creating/reviewing AI technical documentation and API manuals
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
