Description

You will build production-grade Python services and AI/ML integrations with strict type safety and modular architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write fully-typed Python code using type annotations, abstract base classes, and protocols.
• Develop modular, loosely coupled libraries using modern packaging (pyproject.toml) and functional programming principles.
• Implement SQL query builders/ORMs and manage database interactions with proper principles.
• Build comprehensive unit, system, and integration test suites; debug issues in development and production.
• Deploy features using Git workflows, linters, type checkers, and autoformatters.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Deep knowledge of OOP, immutability, pure functions, and minimal state/side effects.
• Experience with SQL, query builders, and database principles.
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
• Strong Git proficiency including feature branch and PR workflows.
• Ability to quickly learn new frameworks by reading public documentation.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML API patterns and underlying algorithms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with production-grade logging and exception handling.
• Proficiency in writing detailed developer documentation and docstrings.
