Key Responsibilities

• Build AI-enabled automation solutions for reconciliation and middle office workflows.
• Automate cash position and transaction data reconciliation processes.
• Develop exception classification, anomaly detection, break prioritization, and root cause analysis capabilities.
• Partner with business operations, product, technology, risk, and vendor teams to deliver scalable and supportable solutions.

Required Skills

• Software development experience in financial services, investment operations, fintech, or enterprise technology environments.
• Experience building automation, workflow, data, API, or AI-enabled solutions.
• Knowledge of middle office reconciliation, exception management, matching logic, controls, and straight-through processing (STP).
• Experience working with investment data, including trades, positions, cash transactions, securities pricing, corporate actions, and reference data.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar languages.
• Strong SQL, data analysis, and data transformation skills.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, integrations, cloud platforms, CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and production support.
• Ability to create technical designs, data mappings, workflow diagrams, and operational runbooks.
• Experience applying AI, generative AI, machine learning, or analytics to process automation.
• Ability to build classification, summarization, semantic search, anomaly detection, and decision-support capabilities.
• Understanding of responsible AI principles, privacy, explainability, oversight, auditability, and operational risk controls.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with reconciliation or investment operations platforms such as Vestmark ONE, SmartStream, Aladdin, Advent Portfolio Exchange, or similar tools.
• Experience modernizing manual processes through workflow automation, STP, AI-assisted review, or exception management platforms.
• Knowledge of brokerage, wealth management, banking, capital markets, managed accounts, or asset management operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
• Several years of software engineering, AI development, data engineering, automation engineering, or fintech delivery experience.
• Strong analytical, technical design, communication, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills
