Key Responsibilities 

• Design, build and maintain features across the stack: dashboards, backend services, APIs and the data layer.

 • Own DevOps end to end: CI/CD pipelines, environment setup, containers and cloud infrastructure.

 • Take ownership of architecture decisions, code quality and system reliability, not only your own tickets. 

• Document decisions and runbooks so others can follow the reasoning later.

 • Mentor junior engineers and act as the team's technical reference.

 • Take an active part in scope planning, architecture review and roadmap discussions. Bring a system-level view, not just a single-feature view. Required Technical Qualifications Backend & Real-Time Systems

 • Strong Python backend skills, especially FastAPI. Comfortable with high-throughput, low-latency service design.

 • Real-time communication experience, especially WebSockets. Used to stream video and signal data between the capture client and backend. This is core to the product, not an edge case. 

• Relational and embedded database experience: PostgreSQL for server-side data. SQLite with SQLCipher for encrypted, tamper-resistant storage on the desktop client. Frontend & Desktop Client 

• Vue 3 (Composition API) for data-dense, operator-facing web dashboards. 

• Rust experience, especially Tauri. Used to build and maintain the cross-platform desktop capture client on customer sites. This is a real native shell, not a browser wrapper.

 • Comfortable working across both web and native desktop. This role owns both sides, not just frontend. Security & DevOps 

• Security is a core skill here, not an afterthought: auth design, API hardening, input validation and OWASP practices.

 • End-to-end test automation experience (Playwright + pytest or similar), so releases don't regress silently.
CI/CD experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions for build, test and release automation. Familiar with Nuitka, 
Offshore / Outsourced Engagement - Additional Requirements

 • Overlap window: a minimum real-time overlap with the Israel-based team, typically mid-morning to late afternoon Israel time. 

• High-level or native English, both written and spoken 

• Documentation and knowledge transfer: require regular sessions, even from a senior, trusted
