Design and deliver secure, agentic AI tools to streamline onboarding and operational execution.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-assisted operational tools including guided intake, knowledge-grounded Q&A, and case summarization.
• Implement agentic workflows with guardrails, input validation, and human-in-the-loop approval steps.
• Develop RAG approaches and grounding logic to ensure responses rely on approved knowledge sources.
• Create automated evaluations for quality, safety, and groundedness, plus telemetry for monitoring performance.
• Integrate AI capabilities with internal services via approved APIs and collaborate on CI/CD and operational readiness.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building production services.
• Hands-on experience implementing LLM-powered features: prompting, tool/function calling, RAG, and agent orchestration.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or TypeScript.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, debugging, testing, and secure SDLC practices.
• Experience working with REST APIs and event-driven patterns.
• Ability to handle sensitive data responsibly with least-privilege access and auditability.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with search/retrieval systems, ranking, and embedding strategies.
• Experience with observability (logs/metrics/traces) and operational support for production services.
