Description

Design and deploy AI applications for retail scenarios, including product search, recommendations, and customer assistants.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate product requirements into technical designs for LLM, NLP, and traditional ML solutions.
• Implement retrieval-augmented generation, document Q&A, and summarization systems.
• Partner with data engineers to design schemas for POS, CRM, and catalog data.
• Build and iterate models, balancing accuracy, robustness, and cost in production.
• Own the full feature lifecycle from design and implementation through deployment and monitoring.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience building and deploying AI/ML applications in production.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with modern ML frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or Hugging Face.
• Hands-on expertise with LLMs and NLP, including prompt design, embeddings, vector databases, and RAG.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and ML services (SageMaker, Vertex AI, Azure ML).
• Proficiency with Databricks.
• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, testing, and CI/CD.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with SQL/NoSQL databases.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field.
• Experience in consumer, ecommerce, or retail environments.
