Description

You will lead the development and implementation of governance frameworks, policies, and standards for AI, ML, and Generative AI.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement AI, ML, and Generative AI governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify controls to mitigate risks throughout the AI lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish consensus and drive accountability for AI/ML guardrails.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices within the banking sector.
  • Lead workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders on governance and policy.

Required Skills

  • 12+ years of experience in AI, ML, Generative AI, and MRM/MRO with a focus on policy, standards, and risk & controls.
  • 7+ years of experience working within the banking and financial industry.
  • 3+ years of experience in Internal Audit or Regulatory Issues Management.
  • Proven experience analyzing and implementing the NIST Risk Management Framework.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to AI/ML and Gen AI.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint for communicating complex governance structures.
  • Ability to establish executable plans and provide independent progress updates.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with IBM WatsonX.gov, RSA Archer, or process mapping and RCSA workshops.
  • Prior development experience building AI/ML or Gen AI capabilities.
  • Cloud and AI certifications including AWS, Azure OpenAI, or Google Cloud.

Bachelor's or Master's degrees
