You will lead the development and implementation of governance frameworks, policies, and standards for AI, ML, and Generative AI.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI, ML, and Generative AI governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify associated controls to mitigate risks within the AI lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish consensus and drive accountability for AI/ML guardrails.
• Lead workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders on governance and policies.

Required Skills

• Minimum 10 years of experience in AI, ML, Generative AI, and MRM/MRO with a focus on policy, standards, governance, and risk & controls.
• 7+ years of experience working within the banking and financial industry.
• 3+ years of experience with Internal Audit or Regulatory Issues Management.
• Proven experience analyzing and implementing the NIST Risk Management Framework.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to AI, ML, and Gen AI.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills with solid PowerPoint expertise.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IBM WatsonX.gov, RSA Archer, or process mapping and RCSA workshops.
• Prior experience building AI/ML or Gen AI capabilities or consulting experience with Big 5 firms.
• Cloud or AI certifications including AWS, Azure OpenAI, or Google Cloud.
