Description

You will co-lead the AI governance programme, partnering with Privacy & Data Protection leadership to own end-to-end execution across policies, standards, and controls.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Establish and operationalise AI intake, risk evaluation, approval, and monitoring workflows.
• Translate regulatory expectations for AI risk, privacy, security, model risk, and third-party risk into practical governance controls.
• Define governance forums, roles, RACI matrices, escalation paths, and decision authorities.
• Ensure governance integration across CISO, Privacy, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Business teams.
• Drive programme cadence, milestones, reporting, and stakeholder communication to prepare the organisation for BAU transition.

Required Skills

• 12+ years in governance, risk management, privacy, security, or compliance roles.
• Demonstrated experience implementing governance programmes, not just advising on them.
• Strong credibility working directly with CISO, CRO, Privacy Officer, and Legal leadership.
• Deep understanding of regulated environments, preferably Insurance or Financial Services.
• Working knowledge of AI risk, model governance, privacy, and cybersecurity controls.
• Proven ability to build operating models, policies, and control frameworks that scale.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree.
• 2-3 years tenure in previous roles.
