Description

You will troubleshoot and maintain GPU/CPU servers, compute clusters, and InfiniBand networking in a lab environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues including cabling, components, GPUs, and servers.
• Use Linux command line extensively for system bring-up, diagnostics, and validation.
• Replace or install server components within racks and manage lab space and hardware inventory.
• Independently diagnose and resolve hardware and system issues in high-performance compute environments.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of relevant experience in hardware troubleshooting for servers, GPUs, and compute systems.
• Strong understanding of computer and compute architecture.
• Proficient Linux skills for system administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with GPUs and high-performance compute environments.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, though equivalent experience is accepted.

Preferred Skills

• Scripting experience with Bash and Python.
• Previous data center or HPC/compute cluster experience.
• Familiarity with GPU technologies such as Tesla or R&D GPUs.
