Description

You will design, develop, and deploy ML, LLM, and GenAI solutions from concept through production, owning reliability and operability. This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and architecture for GenAI systems, implementing optimization strategies to fine-tune models for NLP tasks like summarization and text generation.
• Build and institutionalize MLOps capabilities, including automated pipelines for deployment, monitoring, and model lifecycle management to ensure scalability.
• Conduct evaluations of generative models (e.g., GPT-4.1), iterate on architectures, and implement real-time monitoring to track performance and reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers through design and code reviews, pairing, and coaching to raise engineering quality and delivery discipline.
• Communicate AI/ML capabilities and results to technical and non-technical stakeholders while staying current with research advancements.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of engineering experience, including 3-5+ years building, deploying, and operating applied AI/ML systems in production.
• Proficiency in Python for model development, experimentation, and integration with OpenAI API.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices design.
• Solid understanding of statistics, machine learning fundamentals (classification, regression, time series, deep learning, reinforcement learning), and generative model architectures (GANs, VAEs).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven ability to identify AI/ML challenges, implement optimizations, and manage model governance.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with the financial services industry.
• Expertise in designing pipelines using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Hands-on knowledge of Chain-of-Thoughts, Tree-of-Thoughts, and Graph-of-Thoughts prompting strategies.
