Description

Own the architecture for AI-agent, DSL, and SFMC automation ecosystems, designing agentic AI systems, backend microservices, and integrations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define DSL schemas (JSON/YAML) for AI-generated workflows, ensuring extensibility, safety, and deterministic execution.
• Partner with AI/ML teams on agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI), RAG pipelines, embeddings, and LLM fine-tuning.
• Architect cloud-native, highly available systems on AWS using Terraform, overseeing microservices, orchestration layers, and execution pipelines.
• Ensure robust SFMC integration including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Data Extensions, and Personalization logic via REST/SOAP APIs.
• Define architectural controls for security, compliance, auditability, and data protection for AI-generated marketing workflows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or Java.
• Experience with agent SDKs, LangGraph, MCP, A2A, and LangSmith or Arize Phoenix.
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and SRE practices.
• Deep understanding of DSL design, interpreters, ASTs, and compiler concepts.
• Proficiency in cloud-native architecture on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including microservices and containers.
• Experience with SFMC platform components (Journey Builder, Email Studio, Data Extensions) and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Knowledge of RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, and LLM evaluation/safety.
• Familiarity with Terraform (IaC), observability, monitoring, and logging.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AMPscript and SSJS.
• Background in marketing automation, CRM systems, or customer lifecycle design.
