Description

Build and maintain AI-integrated backend systems using Java, Python, and event-driven architectures.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Reactive programming (Web Flux).
• Design and implement event-driven architectures and stream processing pipelines with Apache Kafka and Flink.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate NoSQL (MongoDB) and RDBMS (Oracle) databases.
• Optimize application performance using Redis caching and efficient data structures.
• Integrate conversational AI frameworks (Dialogflow CX) and LLM agentic architectures into existing platforms.

Required Skills

• 6–8 years of professional Java development experience, including strong proficiency in Spring and Spring Boot.
• 4–5 years of experience with Python for backend or data-driven development.
• Deep understanding of Reactive Programming principles and implementation.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for event streaming and Flink for data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Redis for caching and performance optimization.
• Database expertise in both MongoDB (NoSQL) and Oracle (RDBMS).
• Strong experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of GraphQL.
• Exposure to LLMs, agentic frameworks (ADK, Playbook), and prompt engineering concepts.
