Description

You will lead the strategy and execution of an AI framework for state government agencies.

Responsibilities

• Define and champion the vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI adoption across state government.
• Collaborate with agency stakeholders and OIT resources to identify and prioritize AI opportunities.
• Establish and enforce processes for AI project assessment, approval, testing, and monitoring.
• Mitigate potential biases and risks in AI systems to ensure fairness, equity, and accountability.
• Guide the development and deployment of AI solutions by providing expert advice on technology selection and data governance.
• Assist engineers in evaluating GenAI solutions and vendors against ethical and responsible use requirements.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Expertise in AI Frameworks.
• Deep understanding of GenAI applications, techniques, and associated data constraints.
• Experience managing AI Systems and implementing AI Use Cases.
• Ability to manage AI governance, compliance, and responsible AI principles.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills to work with agency leaders, legal counsel, and technical experts.
• Degree in any field of study.
