Description

You will maintain and secure legacy COBOL applications and associated infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update existing applications using native COBOL and limited RPG.
• Develop interfaces between DLT and other agencies using ODBC, SFTP, GoAnywhere, and FTP.
• Support legacy IVR screen scraping technology from System/36 based systems.
• Configure, maintain, and document application security for DB2 and SQL databases.
• Assist in migration efforts to modernize legacy applications and generate operational reports.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in COBOL and CICS.
• Extensive SQL programming experience with DB2 and multimember records.
• Hands-on experience with AS400 and mainframe support.
• Proficiency in application interface development and database support.
• Knowledge of Spell/400, Surveyor, and X-Analysis tools.
• Ability to develop and maintain comprehensive application documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with XL Print Paris Software and FormDocs.
• Knowledge of IRS FIRE, QLIK, SMB, and Shared SharePoint protocols.
