Description

You will build and maintain .NET/C# backend APIs on Microsoft Azure while developing AI-powered features like text-to-SQL agents.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend APIs using .NET and C# on Microsoft Azure.
• Integrate LLMs with enterprise data platforms including Fabric, Databricks, and SQL Server.
• Design guardrails to ensure AI accuracy, compliance, and secure coding practices in regulated environments.
• Analyze database schemas and datasets to make them AI-queryable and validate AI-generated SQL for correctness.
• Write clean, testable, production-quality code and participate in peer code reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience with strong backend skills in .NET and C#.
• Strong SQL proficiency, including complex queries, schema analysis, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Microsoft Fabric, and Databricks.
• Proven experience integrating AI or LLMs into applications.
• Experience with Azure services such as App Service, Azure Functions, and API Management.
• Ability to work in a regulated environment and understand secure coding practices.

Preferred Skills

• Front-end experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience with RAG, prompt engineering, function calling, or agent workflows.
• Python experience and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Docker.
