Description

Design and implement advanced AI and machine learning solutions within cloud infrastructure environments, leading architecture decisions from discovery through operationalization.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design of AI/ML architectures, including generative AI, conversational AI, and large-scale inference pipelines.
• Develop reference architectures and reusable design patterns, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
• Architect role-based and attribute-based access controls, incorporating security, privacy, and governance controls at every layer.
• Design scalable, fault-tolerant solutions for enterprise-level data volumes with optimized latency and throughput.
• Evaluate and select AI frameworks, foundation models, vector databases, and orchestration tools based on project requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in AI and machine learning architecture design.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in deploying large-scale AI/ML solutions, including generative AI and multimodal models.
• Experience with LLMs, vector databases, and orchestration tools.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT architecture, APIs, and event-driven pipelines.
• Experience with security, privacy, and governance best practices for AI systems, including threat modeling.
• Ability to design integration patterns connecting AI components to enterprise systems like ERP and CRM.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with FinOps practices for cost-efficient architecture.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards for PII/PHI handling and data residency.
