Description

You will build natural language query solutions for law enforcement CLEMIS data, replacing complex SQL interfaces with AI-driven search.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data extraction pipelines from on-premise Oracle/SQL Server databases to AWS Cloud.
• Transform and mask sensitive CJIS and PII data during ingestion.
• Store extracted data in optimized formats for AI/ML workloads, including Vector DBs like Pinecone.
• Enable Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) using AWS Bedrock and industry models (Claude, AWS Titan/Nova).
• Develop search functionality for CLEMIS datasets with future integration into RMS for predictive analysis.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience with Public Safety applications (CAD, RMS, FRMS).
• Proficiency in Python and R.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL database experience.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn.
• Experience with big data processing tools: Apache Spark, Databricks.
• Ability to architect solutions hosted entirely within the AWS Cloud.
