AI Tech Lead

Lead full-stack architecture and AI integration for scalable web applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Drive spec-first development using GitHub Spec Kit to author technical plans before coding begins.
• Architect and build full-stack apps with React, Next.js, Node.js, and Python services.
• Design and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs ensuring performance, security, and versioning.
• Own AWS cloud infrastructure using Lambda, EC2, S3, API Gateway, and CloudFormation.
• Integrate LLMs and AI agents into product features via prompt engineering and API integration.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (Next.js).
• Strong backend skills in Node.js and Python for production-grade API development.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS core services (Lambda, EC2, S3, API Gateway, RDS).
• Solid experience designing and managing MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases at scale.
• Proven experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) and building AI-augmented features.
• Track record of leading technical delivery, setting architecture direction, and mentoring engineers.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, AWS CDK).
• Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, pgvector) or RAG pipeline design.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
