Description

You will serve as the subject matter expert for our computer vision product within the avionics common development environment.

Responsibilities

• Own technical decisions, design, and implementation for the computer vision product capabilities.
• Lead the design and implementation of new product capabilities.
• Optimize existing product capabilities.
• Set up and manage sandbox environments for technology incubation.
• Lead a scrum team of engineers while mentoring and training teammates.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience or equivalent advanced degree.
• Practical experience across all phases of the software engineering product lifecycle, including certification phases.
• Experience with DevSecOps and Cert DevOps principles.
• Proficiency with Git, GitLab, CMake, and Docker.
• Experience with scripting languages, specifically Python.
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence training frameworks.
• Experience with API and server development using frameworks like flask and fastapi.
• Experience with simulation environments such as Vista.
• Knowledge of Agile development life cycle and best practices.
