Description

You will own the design, implementation, and optimization of computer vision product capabilities within the avionics common development environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical decisions, design, and implementation for new and existing product capabilities.
• Manage sandbox environments for technology incubation and experimentation.
• Lead a scrum team, mentoring and training teammates on engineering best practices.
• Drive software development through certification phases using DevSecOps and Cert DevOps principles.
• Optimize existing product capabilities and ensure robust API and server development.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience or an equivalent advanced degree.
• Proficiency with Git, GitLab, CMake, and Docker for build and containerization management.
• Strong scripting skills, specifically in Python.
• Experience with API and server development using Flask and FastAPI.
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence training frameworks.
• Experience with simulation environments, specifically Vista.
• Knowledge of Agile development lifecycles and best practices.
• Understanding of DevSecOps and Cert DevOps principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with LynxOS and Artifactory.
• Background in avionics or safety-critical system development.
