Design, build, and deploy production-grade AI/ML systems that automate tasks and improve user-facing services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI/ML systems, agent architectures, and workflows that integrate with existing infrastructure.
• Develop production-grade backend services, APIs, and middleware using Python, ensuring clean coding principles.
• Build testing and evaluation pipelines for AI systems, including synthetic data generation and benchmarking.
• Optimize system performance for accuracy, latency, and cost efficiency, particularly in environments with limited GPU resources.
• Deploy containerized applications in hybrid cloud environments and document technical decisions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Python for backend services, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in Data Structures, Algorithms, and clean coding practices.
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and version control (Git).
• Knowledge of Graph databases (Neo4j) and graph retrieval techniques.
• Understanding of NLP, including classical techniques and LLM integration.
• Experience designing systems for complex, inconsistent, or evolving datasets.

Preferred Skills

• Experience fine-tuning small language models or embedding models.
• Proficiency with React and Microsoft Teams Toolkit for chatbot UIs.
• Knowledge of Rust or other performance-oriented languages for data science libraries.
