Description

You will develop deep learning models and advanced data analysis solutions to optimize purchasing processes and supplier management.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI enhancements for the Purchasing PDO team, focusing on supplier-focused functional improvements.
• Collect, clean, and preprocess large, complex datasets to ensure model generalization and accuracy.
• Implement deep learning networks with multi-GPU and multi-node capabilities for scalable performance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to automate purchasing needs within 1-2 week delivery cycles.
• Perform exploratory data analysis, design A/B tests, and monitor model performance in production environments.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or R.
• Proven experience implementing solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) and core Machine Learning techniques.
• Expertise in SQL for database querying and manipulation.
• Experience with data manipulation libraries such as pandas, NumPy, dplyr, or data.table.
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts, including hypothesis testing and experimental design.
• Ability to apply regression, classification, clustering, tree-based, and ensemble methods.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a quantitative field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with big data technologies including Spark, Hadoop, or Hive.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of automotive supply chain processes and MLOps practices.
