Description

You will lead service rationalization, API-first architecture, and the transition to AI-agent-ready systems across enterprise ecosystems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and build API-first, event-driven architectures and decompose complex monoliths into reusable services.
• Build and deliver production-grade microservices, integrations, and POCs using domain-driven design.
• Drive incremental legacy modernization using the strangler pattern and establish service catalogs and governance.
• Design observability strategies including distributed tracing, structured logging, and metrics dashboards.
• Partner with global teams to influence a platform-first mindset and implement zero-trust security models.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of engineering experience building production-grade systems in enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise in microservices, REST/GraphQL APIs, and event-driven architecture with Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipeline design.
• Proven track record with GitOps workflows, release engineering, and breaking down fragmented systems.
• Experience designing systems for AI agents and integrating Gen AI into service architectures.
• Strong understanding of zero-trust architecture, API security, and identity federation.
• Ability to make and communicate well-reasoned architectural trade-offs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development tools.
• Background in building service catalogs or internal developer platforms.
