Description

Manage manufacturing resource allocation and process planning for aircraft production operations.

Responsibilities

• Administer manufacturing resource allocation, BOM consumption, and Computer Aided Planning (CAP) routing creation.
• Create and maintain work sequence documentation, manufacturing instructions, dimensional charts, and ply tables.
• Generate manufacturing item orders, including NC programs, tools, fixtures, and gages.
• Support producibility assessments and provide technical assistance to procurement and suppliers.
• Validate Production Engineering work and train or direct other employees as required.

Required Skills

• Extensive aircraft manufacturing knowledge and shop production processing experience.
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, models, Bills of Materials (BOM), and technical specifications.
• Demonstrated capability in applying GD&T and aerospace tolerances.
• Experience with Loft, Engineering, Tooling, Manufacturing, and Planning processes.
• Ability to manage production order maintenance and tool maintenance requests.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal and external customer interaction.
• Four years of college education or eight years of experience in the aircraft industry.
