Description

Perform structural stress analysis and detailed finite element analysis (FEA) on airframe components and systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute detailed FEA on metallic, composite, structural castings, precision forgings, and additive components.
• Define engineering designs through 2D/3D modeling, requirement capture, and specification development.
• Utilize analytical tools and codes to support structural validation.
• Manage product lifecycles using PLM software.

Required Skills

• 5 to 12 years of airframe stress analysis experience.
• Proficiency with Nastran.
• Hands-on experience with CATIA V5, V6, or 3DX.
• Experience with analysis pre/post-processors such as PATRAN, Hyper Works, or Femap.
• Working knowledge of GD&T requirements.
• Proficiency with Mathcad, MATLAB, Python, or Excel Visual Basic.
• Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) software like Enovia.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Skills

• Major or Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
