Description

You will perform detailed structural analysis and stress evaluation for airframe components and systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed finite element analysis (FEA) on metallic, composite, structural castings, precision forgings, and additive components.
• Develop engineering design definitions including 2D/3D modeling, requirement capture, and specification development.
• Utilize analytical tools and codes to support structural integrity assessments.
• Manage product lifecycles using PLM software to drive design through development.

Required Skills

• 5 to 12 years of airframe stress analysis experience.
• Proficiency with NASTRAN.
• Experience with at least one analysis pre/post-processor such as PATRAN, HyperWorks, or Femap.
• Experience with CATIA V5, V6, or 3DX.
• Proficiency in Mathcad, MATLAB, Python, or Excel Visual Basic.
• Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) software such as ENOVIA.
• Working knowledge of GD&T requirements.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Preferred Skills

• Major or Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• CATIA V5/V6/3DX experience.
• Working knowledge of GD&T requirements.
