Description

You will manage and maintain IBM Power and Unix environments within a complex enterprise infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute data center migrations through definition, design, and deployment phases.
• Maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot IBM Power systems and AIX server virtualization.
• Design, install, and troubleshoot native high availability solutions for Solaris, AIX, and HP-UX.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and remediation across various Unix environments.
• Administer and troubleshoot Veritas Filesystem and Veritas Cluster environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Unix/Linux administration.
• Hands-on expertise with IBM AIX and IBM Power hardware.
• Deep knowledge of Unix file systems including UFS, JFS, XFS, EXT4, VXFS, and GFS2.
• Proficiency with Red Hat Linux, SUSE Linux, and other Linux distributions.
• Experience managing LVM and SVM.
• Technical expertise in Solaris and HP-UX.
• Strong background in Veritas administration.
