Description
You will manage and support IBM Power Systems and AIX environments, ensuring infrastructure stability and automation.
Responsibilities
- Configure and support IBM Power Systems hardware using the Hardware Management Console (HMC).
- Manage IBM Server firmware and hardware configurations.
- Support RedHat Linux servers within the infrastructure.
- Develop automation scripts to streamline administrative tasks.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of experience as an AIX administrator or engineer.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with IBM POWER Systems.
- Hands-on expertise with IBM I (iSeries, AS/400).
- Proficiency with IBM AIX and HMC configuration.
- Experience managing IBM Power Systems hardware.
- Experience supporting RedHat Linux servers.
- Proficiency in automation scripting.
- Experience with Ansible for automation.
