Description

You will manage and support IBM Power Systems and AIX environments, ensuring infrastructure stability and automation.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support IBM Power Systems hardware using the Hardware Management Console (HMC).
• Manage IBM Server firmware and hardware configurations.
• Support RedHat Linux servers within the infrastructure.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline administrative tasks.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as an AIX administrator or engineer.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with IBM POWER Systems.
• Hands-on expertise with IBM I (iSeries, AS/400).
• Proficiency with IBM AIX and HMC configuration.
• Experience managing IBM Power Systems hardware.
• Experience supporting RedHat Linux servers.
• Proficiency in automation scripting.
• Experience with Ansible for automation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with infrastructure stability and automation strategies.
• Background in hardware configuration management.
