Description

Manage AIX/Unix and Linux servers, infrastructure, and cloud environments. You will plan, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot systems with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Administer AIX, Linux (Ubuntu), and AWS cloud infrastructure, including security configuration and patching.
• Monitor system performance, document capacity issues, and maintain disaster recovery procedures.
• Perform shell scripting, image provisioning, and automation for cloud and on-prem systems.
• Collaborate with security teams to harden systems and ensure CIS compliance.
• Provide first-level support for Kubernetes and Docker environments.

Required Skills

• 4-6 years of AIX Systems Administration and Engineering experience (on-prem).
• 2-3 years of Linux and AWS Cloud technologies experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of Ubuntu, AWS Image provisioning, and Cloud Disaster Recovery.
• Familiarity with SAN, enterprise storage, and network architectures.
• Experience with security tools such as Big Fix and CIS standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with vendors and users.

Preferred Skills

• Kubernetes clustering experience.
• Unix or Linux certification.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project and SDLC methodologies.
