Roles and Responsibilities:

• Administer AIX systems including user management, system configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Manage backup and restore operations using TSM and Tivoli components, ensuring successful job execution and retention compliance.
• Support storage administration tasks including LVM management, volume/group operations, and capacity planning.
• Coordinate SAN-related activities such as storage provisioning support, device mapping validation, and operational issue resolution.
• Monitor system health, investigate incidents, and perform root-cause analysis to improve stability and uptime.

Skills Required:

• 4-8 years of relevant experience in AIX/UNIX systems administration
• AIX administration and UNIX system operations
• TSM and Tivoli backup/restore administration
• Storage and SAN operations with strong understanding of storage provisioning workflows
• LVM administration for logical volume and filesystem management

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology
