Description

You will manage Akamai CDN infrastructure and DevOps pipelines for scalable web applications on AWS and Kubernetes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure, optimize, and maintain Akamai CDN solutions to enhance content delivery performance and security.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes for application deployment.
• Develop and maintain web applications, APIs, and microservices leveraging AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway).
• Monitor CDN performance metrics, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cache settings, routing rules, and security configurations.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, including SOX compliance for software development and release policies.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in CDN management, with prior experience using Akamai.
• Strong proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, S3, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Ability to automate infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and monitoring.
• Understanding of web development principles, including APIs and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of security best practices for CDN configurations and compliance requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including developers, network engineers, and security experts.
