Description

You will own Akamai website and application delivery configurations to optimize performance and security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Akamai Net Storage and delivery configurations, including custom caching, routing, and web performance rules.
• Configure Akamai modules such as Adaptive Image Compression, Content Targeting, Edge Redirector, and Front End Optimization.
• Manage security products including Web Application Firewall (WAF), Site Shield, Kona Site Defender, Prolexic, and BOT Manager.
• Oversee SSL Certificates, DNS management, and web platform administration.
• Support mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.

Required Skills

• 3 years of experience with Akamai Net Storage and delivery configuration.
• Proficiency with AWS and Azure Gateways.
• Experience with NGINX and Apache.
• Knowledge of AngularJS and HTTP/2.
• Deep understanding of SSL Certificates and DNS management.
• Experience managing web platforms such as Heroku PaaS.
• Hands-on experience with Akamai security tools: WAF, Site Shield, and Prolexic.
• Ability to analyze and solve technical problems in high-pressure environments.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience as a Webmaster or in Akamai support.
• Knowledge of media players and streaming protocols.
