Description

You will manage and optimize Akamai WAF and Layer 7 security appliances to protect applications and APIs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Respond to WAF events and mitigate security violations and attacks.
• Fine-tune policies and develop, maintain, and troubleshoot WAF rulesets.
• Onboard existing applications to the WAF environment.
• Perform forensic analysis on memory, disk, and network artifacts to identify indicators of compromise.
• Investigate control gaps and document incident handling processes and guides.

Required Skills

• 4-5 years of experience in Network Security and Incident Response.
• Hands-on experience with Akamai WAF or similar Reverse Proxy Layer 7 security appliances.
• Practical knowledge of API security, Bot Protection, and Anti-Malware protection.
• Experience with CDN technologies.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python or Shell.
• Ability to perform forensic analysis on system and network artifacts.
• Any Graduate degree.
