Description

You will design, implement, and maintain AlloyDB solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain AlloyDB solutions on GCP while optimizing data models, queries, and performance.
• Manage AlloyDB installations, upgrades, patch management, and backup/recovery strategies.
• Monitor database availability, integrity, security, and access controls.
• Collaborate with DevOps to automate administration tasks and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues to ensure minimal downtime.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of relevant experience in database development.
• Strong SQL proficiency for complex queries and optimization.
• Python programming skills with experience using the AlloyDB for Python library.
• Experience using the AlloyDB JDBC driver.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Any graduate degree.
