Alteryx Developer

You will own the migration of data processing and ETL workflows from DataFlux to the Alteryx platform.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business logic, data transformations, and rules within existing DataFlux jobs.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy Alteryx workflows and macros to replicate legacy functionality.
• Validate new Alteryx workflows against legacy DataFlux outputs in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Automate workflow execution and manage schedules on Alteryx Server for optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies during and after the migration process.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, ETL Developer, or Data Engineer.
• Demonstrable, hands-on experience with DataFlux/SAS Data Management and Alteryx Designer.
• Proven experience migrating data processes and logic between different platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in developing workflows using Alteryx Designer and hands-on experience with Alteryx Server.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, manipulation, and validation.
• Experience with various data sources, including databases, flat files, APIs, and cloud-based data stores.
• Familiarity with ETL concepts.
• Experience with Data Analyst or ETL Developer roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Tableau or Power BI.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
