Description

You will manage and operate scalable, fault-tolerant systems on EKS Anywhere. You will deploy, manage, and operate highly available systems, automate containerized application deployment, scaling, and management. You will implement monitoring and logging solutions to provide infrastructure visibility, troubleshoot environment issues including performance and functionality, and collaborate with developers to facilitate CI/CD processes. You will perform routine maintenance and upgrades without downtime.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and operate highly available systems on EKS Anywhere.
• Automate deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions for infrastructure visibility.
• Troubleshoot EKS Anywhere environment issues, including performance and functionality.
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades without downtime.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in relevant roles.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Proven experience with Amazon EKS Anywhere and AWS cloud services.
• Proficiency with Terraform and CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting.
• Strong background in Linux/Unix administration.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, storage, and security best practices.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or similar certification.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Understanding of DevOps tools including Jenkins and GitLab CI.
